Leonardo Aguilar, born on August 15, 1999, is part of the esteemed “La Dinastía Aguilar” musical family. The son of Mexican singer Pepe Aguilar and Aneliz Álvarez Alcalá, Leonardo holds dual citizenship in Mexico and the United States. Growing up in a musical environment, he frequently toured with his father and sister, Ángela Aguilar.
In 2012, at just twelve years old, Leonardo released the collaborative album “Nueva Tradición” with Ángela. In 2016, he made his solo debut with “Gallo Fino,” produced by Pepe Aguilar. The album, featuring collaborations with notable artists, earned him a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Norteño Album in 2017, along with a nomination for his song “Compromiso Descartado” in the Best Regional Mexican Song category. Leonardo Aguilar continues to carve his path in Mexican music with a promising career ahead.
